500. Q:
I lift weights and all, and am in pretty good shape. But I still have man-boobs. How do I get rid of them?
A:
It sounds like you just have a little too much fat on you, despite exercising and being in good shape. This is not uncommon, especially if you do not pay much attention to what you eat. To lose those manboobs you'll need to on a fat-burning diet and slowly lose some weight (1 pound per week is a good pace). Please read this article carefully and then fill out the Fitness Guide as directed to get a complete diet + training fat-burning program. Good luck!
501. Q:
hey, you say to have more whole grains and oats in the morning - any suggestions of types of products?
A:
Sure! You can make hot cereals from a number of whole grains including plain old-fashioned oats (big cylindrical boxes you see in the supermarket), amaranth, millet, quanoa, wheat germ, buckwheat groats (kasha), whole grain bulgur, and Roman Meal hot cereal mixes. All supermarkets carry oats and most will carry Roman Meals and wheat germ. If you can't find other grains in your local supermarket, you'll be able to find them at places like 'Whole Foods', 'Trader Joe's' and other health food stores. Any of these hot cereals can be made absolutely delicious with some fruits or berries or some dates or raisins and can make a core of a great breakfast (or any meal, for that matter) along with some source of protein like cottage cheese or whey powder.
If you just absolutely cannot stomach these foods (and there really shouldn't be any reason for that :), the next best thing is using whole-grain breads (black rye or pumpernickel, for example) as toast or some of the better cold cereal choices like 'Cheerios', 'Total', 'Shredded Wheat', and 'Wheaties'. However, again, try to find some true whole grains that you can have and enjoy for breakfast every day.
