dear mike hi my name is fuad and iam 19 and i wight 55 and iam tall 1.80 and i need to be in a good shape so plz help me and tell me what to do to be in a great looking shape and thank U
A:
Hi, Fuad! Right now you're very very lean at only 55 kgs and 180 cms. So I'm guessing you're interested in gaining some muscle and becoming stronger. Good news is that at your age and physique you're in the perfect position to do so! All you have to do is weight-traing with heavy (heavy for you, not for someone else!) weights and eat A LOT!
For training you will hopefully have access to a gym. You will need to train your whole body: legs, back, chest, shoulders, and arms. Please read my Weighttraining article to learn about training and to find several sample programs -- I recommend that you pick one of the 'split' ones to start with. If you're not sure what some exercise is, consult here.
You should eat several times per day, the more the better. Your meals should medium size -- smaller if you eat a lot of them, bigger if you eat a few. You should eat all sorts of lean meat, fish, chicken, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, healthy fats like olive oil. Your goal should be to eat enough to gain about 2 kgs of weight every month! If you're not gaining weight fast enough, then you'll need to eat even more. If you're gaining weight too fast, then eat slightly less -- otherwise you'll just put on a lot of new fat and not muscle. Aim for 2 kg per month weight gain pace.
That's about it! Heavy whole-body lifting and a healthy generous diet will build you a lot of muscle at your age and physique. Be sure to look around my site for other articles and info.
