2474. Q: what is the target weight in bench pressing for a 14yr old boy

A: As far as I know there doesn't exist enough data to establish strength standards for teens. I'm not sure whether such standards would even be particularly meaningful because some people develop much sooner than others. However if you want a rough benchmark, an average untrained adult man who weighs 200 pounds can bench press about 135 pounds (standard bar plus a 45-pound plate on each side). An untrained adult man who weighs 150 pounds can bench press about 110 pounds.

However more importantly than 'standards' benchmarks I would encourage you to compete against yourself, not against anyone else or anyone else's standards. As long as you are making steady progress in your own training, you are doing great. This is doubly so since you probably have not hit your growth spurt (which typically comes around age of 16) which is when you'll be able to put on the most muscle and gain most strength.

2475. Q: should one still continue to do bench press, including incline and decline if they have gyno?

A: For purely esthetic purposes there's usually no reason to avoid bench press with gynecomastia. Bench press can only build additional muscle, not fat. More muscle behind the the subcutaneous fat layer will usually help hide the extra fat, not magnify it. Just make sure you don't gain too much new weight too quickly while weight training -- fast weight gain will lead to new fat which will of course make the situation worse. Make sure your weight stays constant or increases very very slowly.
2476. Q: hi mike im 14 and 150 lbs and 5'7. im muscular and I weight lift daily is my weight ok for 14

A: Yes, you doing just fine. You are taller than about 75% of your peers and heavier than about 90% of them. Your weight is still very much within healthy range. Being a little heavier is very typical for somebody who weight trains -- extra muscle adds more weight. So you are doing great, just keep it going!
