Well, gynecomastia in teenage guys usually disappears within 3 years, so it'll probably happen for you soon enough. The only other option for you would be to seek medical advice/help for this.

how many calories do u burn by doing 400 situps?
A:
Not many and more importantly counting calories for situps, pushups, etc. is the wrong way to approach weight/fat loss. The best way to lose fat is to exercise your muscles with high resistance levels forcing your body to spend a lot of energy (energy = calories) during recovery. The more muscles have to recover, the more fat you'll burn. A situp targets only a small part of your muscle mass, maybe 10%. So the smart thing to do would be NOT do a ton of situps, but instead do some situps, some pushups, some squats, some pullups, some lunges, some jumping jacks, etc to target all of your different muscles. Mike, yesterday was my leg day. Today i have like a burn on the inside of my legs. The burn is on the inside of my legs a couple inches down from my hip. is this my thighs burning or what?
A:
There are a lot of different muscles that make up the thighs, so I couldn't tell you which one muscle specifically is sore for you. But in general, soreness on the inside of the thigh comes from doing the leg exercises (squats, leg presses, lunges) with your feet further apart than usual or from using the adduction machine. Just like any other muscle soreness, it's harmless in the long run.

What is your perspective on the Special K diet? I am planning to do it along with eating a lot of fruits and veggies and drinking lots of water.
A:
It's a not a real good approach to diet, but if you currently eat total junk, then even the 'special K diet' would be a good step. Check out Q&A #1195 -- what I say there about raisin bran applies exactly to special K. Contrary to its advertising, special K is NOT a good diet food. It is relatively light on calories if you eat just one serving, but those calories are of low quality. Your fruits and veggies (especially green leafy veggies like spinach, broccoli, etc.) are MUCH better choices than special K. Drinking lots of water is also a great idea.
