Yomega Saber Raider- Overall a decent yo. It was a lot better when I got it, but lately it seems to have lost most of its responsiveness. I am going to try Vaseline on its side plates to give it more encouragement to come up. Also a double loop on the axle helps some people, but I play with a pretty tight string most of the time. It sleeps about 1:20 or so, does great on any mount you want, and slides well for string tricking. No real complaints other than the loss of responsiveness (it might be something I did). Get this yoyo at Yoyoplay for 12 dollars…..it rivals a tigershark/cherry bomb/TBB GT.

To me this is a better version of the Raider. You don’t lose much performance with the butterfly shape and it is much easier to do the Trapeze with. The downsides are that it doesn’t respond well. It also needs to be lubed quite frequently. This yo-yo has a good performance, but there are better yo-yos. In my opinion this yo-yo is a good yo-yo. It’s not a must-have, but it is worth it.

This is the butterfly version of the Raider. Unlike the Raider, it’s light, it doesn’t respond as well, and it’s not as good on string tricks. I found it a little hard to get it to do tricks like Brain Twister and Barrel Rolls, never mind more complicated stuff. It’s a good yo-yo, but the play is just a little below what I’d expect after using a Raider.

I like the Saber Raider because it’s one of the best string trick yoyos that I have. I can easily do Atomic Boing with it and can also do shoot the moons which is one of the hardest looping tricks for beginners. It’s a good price they come in all different colors. Also if you want you can put a Team Losi ball bearing in it and it will work a little better. It’s also the yoyo I’ve used at contests in freestyles and just for playing around at the yoyo store I go to. It’s a must get — if it doesn’t work well at first, just keep practicing it will get better with use.

I think this is the best yo-yo you can buy. It sleeps long enough for all of my combos and it is really smooth. It is pretty good for all looping tricks. You need to take really good care of it and it needs new bearings every once and a while. I’m using this for my freestyle at the Yomega world competition..

This is a good yoyo for learning tricks but if you buy it for performance I would not recomend it. If you are a beginner i would suggest you buy it. It was the first roller bearing yo I have. Since I was a beginner I thought it was pretty good but now that I have gotten a whole lot better I don’t use it at all.

If you are a fan of light-weight, smooth wing-shaped yo-yos, this may be the yo-yo for you. It sleeps for a long time, and I can do things like cold fusion with it. The edges are slightly rounded, but not much, so they can still hurt your hand. The Saber Raider has a pretty wide string gap, but it’s not adjustable. Like all Yomegas, this one uses starbursts. Lots of people seem to have response problems with this yo-yo, but putting on a new 8-type string will have it respond like a wood fixed axle. It loops okay, but it is much better for string tricks. I like this yo, but I think it needs more weight. So, I recommend trying to put weight on it so it will sleep longer. A great yo-yo for $13-$15 dollars.
