Hey guys! Its been a while since my last post, I decided to come back and see what's new over here :) My current stats are: 18, male, 5'11, and 220 lbs. I am down to ~26% bodyfat, which is less than my last visit, but that's only 3% in such a long time. I've actually been pretty frustrated with not being able to stick to a good plan consistently, so I'm hoping this plan I'm about to start with my brother will work out the way I want it to. The plan is a very low carb diet with high protein and good fats. (Now, people argue its a bad diet to do, but personally I've tried it before and it worked really well, I just stuck to it for only a week. Also, for those of you who say low carb is bad and I'll gain all the weight back, that's not true. This is just a way to kick start healthy eating habits that will develop over time.) Well, that's all I have to say, glad to see there are more members with blogs. Good Luck everyone.

Good to hear from you PLDrummer! Congrats on your progress, even if it's not as fast as you hoped! Just keep at it. There's nothing wrong with your new nutrition plan as long as you don't go so low-carb that you eliminate even things like leafy veggies (lettuce, spinach, broccoli, etc). As long as you keep eating leafy veggies you can probably safely exclude all other carb sources and not still not have to worry about health issues. Good luck with your program!
