Hey, just to introduce myself, my names Steve. My goal is to lose weight, about 30 lbs. I am 16, 6'0 in height, and 220 lbs. I plan to do this through healthy eating and exercising(and heavy-whole body weight training*mike*). My main goal is to reduce the size of my male chest fat so that I can wear a shirt and take off the shirt in public. I have failed on certain diets, such as low-cal, low-carb, low-fat, etc...Now I unserstand its all about proper nutrition and exercise, so I have the knowledge I have to lose weight now. I hope to lose a good 20 lbs over this summer before school begins again(2 months in time).

Good to see your blog here, Steve! If you'd like you can post your diet and exercise programs here and I may be able to give you some tips. But it sounds like you know what you are doing, so go for it!

The only problem I have now is eating junk food often in large amounts. I cannot seem to stay on a clean diet for more than 3 consecutive days. I am not sure if I am supposed to have a cheat day, so I aim for 24/7 clean eating, which lasts for more like 24/3 days of the 7...

An occasional cheat meal is OK. If you can eat clean 5-6 days/week, having a couple "cheats" per week won't hurt your progress
