Going from 29% body fat to 24% in 3 months is a very reasonable goal. If you weigh, say, 200 pounds then 29% body fat means that you are carrying 58 pounds of fat. Going to 24% would mean you'd reduce the fat to 48 pounds. So you are aiming for 10 pounds of fat lost in 3 months which is very very doable and if you are stick closely to your program you may well achieve even better results! Aim for a loss of no more than about one pound per week -- with a good training program and at your young age you don't necessarily need to lose very much weight to burn fat and build muscle (thereby reducing body fat percentage). Good luck and looking forward to your progress! |
