Had a lousy workout, was all ready to get right into it and as soon as I done the first squat I was as flat as a tack, just how you were talking about bigbubba, I had nothin!! Can only put it down to one thing and that was the crap nights sleep I had, diets good ate well all day, had a good pre workout meal about 40 mins before, attitude was good (until the first squat of course) man sweat ran out of me immediately!! Mike dont know if it was just because I felt like shit or not but yeh a big differance with the free weights compared to leverage, dropped back 40lbs on squats, only done 220lbs on deads and it just felt a lot more intense. Do chest etc tommorow so will see how that goes and what the differance is, hopefully I've got some energy to burn.

This is most likely because you are changing from levers to freeweights. Even on seemingly identical exercises freeweights feel a lot different and it will take you some time to "reprogram" your body for the new form. You should make good progress with freeweight lifts over the course of the next month or two, similarly to how you made good progress in strength when you first started working out. So don't get down on yourself and just keep at it.

Nice job changing up your workout anyway.  Just keep plugging along.
