Can Cycling Be HIIT
Q: can cycling around to places considered a HIIT
A: Cycling around town is almost always a moderate-intensity endurance cardio exercise which is not HIIT. If you want to make it more like HIIT you can introduce all-out sprints into your cycling interspersed with short 'rest' periods when you cycle at normal pace. A HIIT sequence would consist of several 30-second sprints interspersed with 30-second 'rest' periods. But only do so if you can sprint safely -- usually all-out sprinting is dangerous when cycling around town.
