Do I Need To Eat More To Bulk Up
Q: Iam the guy from 359 question. In order to bulk up do i need to eat more every day than i do now?
A: Yes, bulking up and putting on muscles requires overeating and gaining weight. The better your exercise program is and the slower you put on this new weight, the more likely it will be new muscle and not new fat. A well-executed bulk, especially for a beginner, may be gaining 15 pounds in 6 months of which about 12 pounds are muscle and 3 pounds are fat. Once you finish your bulk phase successfully you can restart on cutting fat (by adjusting your diet accordingly) and you should be able to lose all the newly-gained fat and some of your old fat while keeping most of your newly-gained muscle.
