A: They're OK as a second-tier choice when you can't have a more vegetable/less bread meal. If you do go with them, try to select a 'light' wheat bread (there are several brands that have 30-60 calories/slice instead of the usual 80-120) and pile on a lot of turkey since each turkey slice has only a tiny bit of protein (look at the nutrition label to decide how many -- you'll want 30-40 grams of protein in the sandwich altogether). Use a little bit of mayo to add some fats or maybe slice a hardboiled egg into it for both extra fats and protein.
