i know the cereal is kind of a bad choice, im open for reccomendations to that, and anything else thanks!
A: That's a very good start! My suggestions would be:
- For meals 1-3 you need some good healthy fats in there. Almond butter (or even natural peanut butter) goes well with cottage cheese. Just be very careful with portion sizes for it -- probably about 1 teaspoon's worth in each of meals #1, 2, 3 (which is very little). Also watch the portion sizes with all-bran, it's fairly calorie-dense itself!
- Meal #4 is fine, but flax seed is not a replacement for salmon as far as overall nutrition (only for the omega-3 fats). Chicken + flax would be a good salmon replacement however.
- Meals #5 and 6 need some green veggies in addition to or in place of rice. And they need A LOT of them! Broccoli, green beans, spinach, cauliflower, peppers, onions, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. My recommendation would be to cut the rice completely from meals 5 and 6 and add tons of green veggies (steamed or raw preferably) instead. Especially in meal 6, you don't want rice, but veggies instead.
That would be a very good fat-burning diet. As always you'll need to watch portion sizes to make sure you're not eating too much or too little, but the meals and the food choices themselves are very very good.
