Get Tired Of Eating Same Things

Q: You mike I just turned 20 last week I weighed 334 and I'm down to 308 now the weight loss has seemed to stop and I'm getting tired of eating the same things over and over u got any tips or recipes??

A: Unfortunately I don't a recipe section on the site, but there're thousands of healthy recipes on the web and in cooking books and most of them give you nutrition information so you can figure out whether they are good choices. First figure out how many calories you want to be eating per day. You'd probably want about 100 grams of healthy fats, 150 grams of good carbs, and at least 200 or more grams of protein or around 2300 calories (more if you choose to eat more protein) per day. So if you eat five meals a day you'll want each meal be about 450 calories with about 20 grams of fat, 30 grams of carbs, and 40 grams of protein. Look for most carbs to come from vegetables, peas, beans, lentils, and whole grains like oats. If you read my Nutrition article you'll find lists of other healthy foods. Then you'll just need to find recipes that you like and that fit this profile. A lot of these will necessarily be a lot of salad-type foods, so your diet will be somewhat repetitive unfortunately. Just keep you focus on why you are doing this and maybe reward yourself with occasional meals of stuff you really like. Good luck!
