A: If you're doing situps to try and lose stomach fat, then you're going about it wrong. Even doing a thousand situps a day will make very little difference. Doing situps to lose weight is a bad myth. It doesn't work. Instead you should be focusing on having a good fat-burning diet and doing heavy whole-body weight training. 'Heavy' means using such weights that you can only lift 12 times or so before needing a break. 'Whole-body' means that you're exercising ALL the difference muscles in your body, not just abdominals.
