Junk Food Served At School

Q: Mike, im a student. and need to stop eating the junky food served at my school, what are some ideas that are filling, yet still good for you.. Im trying to cut right now.

A: Even the worst cafeterias will have some decent choices. For breakfast get something like Wheaties or Total cereal with a bit of milk and cottage cheese with some fruits. If there's no cottage cheese, use more milk. For other meals, there's always some sort of salad with green veggies available to which you can add some grilled chicken or fish (from the burger, if necessary -- just throw away the bun).

Besides relying on the cafeteria food, you can always start taking something with you from home. This will require a bit more planning, of course.
