A: About 110 pounds is average, but healthy weight range is pretty wide. If you weigh a lot less than 110, then just eat more and you'll catch up! In fact if you are underweight now and start eating more and are physically active (sports, weight training, etc) you are in excellent position to build great physique over the next several years.

How did you work out that I should lose two thirds of my weight as fat in order to get to 10 per cent body fat? My Weight Loss Is Too Slow

Q: Hi Mike! I just found your site today. I started a nutrition (I don't like the word diet) and exercise routine dec. 1. I have been monitoring my food intake and try to maintian 1200 cal, 100 gm carbs, 100 grms protien and 25 grms of fat. I generally do weight training with a trainer 2x a week and once on my own. I do cardio for 45-60 min 4-5 times a week. My concern is that to date I have only lost 7 pounds. I am 5' 2" and 161 lbs. I would have expected a greater weight loss with the regimine I've been following.
