Q: Mike I was wondering why there are no fruit in any part of this diet and what would be the best way to get this down to 5 to 6 meals a day without eating too many calarioes in one sitting.

Carrying Extra Weight After Child Birth

Q: hi mike i gave birth 21mths ago and am still not at my prebaby weight im stil 14lb over, i run, i spin do pilates, circuits and aerobics, i am carrying my extra weight around my hips, bum and thighs its really starting to get me down. I have good muscles there if i could manage to lose the layer of fat, can u suggest anything to help me?

Could You Drive Your Metabolism Too Low

Q: The average man needs 2500 calories a day and for women 2000 daily - the common way your told to lose fat weight is to drop 500 calories a day to lose a pound a week - surely if your are very active with a weight training program too- you will lose much more than 500 calories a day - say your losing 700 or more calories a day is that a cause for concern? Could you drive your metabolism too low? In other words if maybe only someone who isn't or can't be very active should be on a 500 calorie deficit; and active people should be on maybe 2700 calories daily for men and 2200 for women?

Lost Weight And Muscle Due To Illness

Q: Hi Mike, I am a 5' 8" male, 28, and have always always had a fairly slight build. However, over the last 6 months I was starting to make good progress in the gym, gaining more muscle through a high-protein diet and increasing my body weight from 60 to almost 65kg, closer to where I wanted to be. Unfortunately (and typically!), last month I became quite ill, and while I have now almost recovered from the illness, it has effectively reversed all of my hard work and I have lost a lot of weight and muscle as a result.
