How Many Cheat Meals A Week

Q: How many Cheat Meals a week do you advise one to have while bulking?

A: There's no single right answer to this. It's entirely up to you. The fewer cheat meals and the stricter you stick to your diet plan, the better your results will be. In all likelihood getting 5% of your calories from junk food will not be noticeable at all. Assuming you eat 5-6 meals daily, that works out to 1-2 cheat meals per week (a cheat meal is usually bigger in calories than regular meals).

Bulk Program For Middle Age Male

Q: I was looking on your website, I think it awesome. Do you have any workout program for middle age male trying to bulk?

A: Thanks! To bulk up in middle age a few things are going to be key:
- Relatively low volume (meaning fewer sets) because for most of us our bodies simply cannot recover from heavy physical stress as easily as when we were younger. Limiting total number of sets will help prevent over-training and injuries.

Circuit Training Or Weight Training

Q: Hi, I read your article about losing fat. I want to say thank you. It was well put and to the point.
Now I know what I have to do, but not sure how to go about it.

Weight training:
Should I do circuit training and if yes, what's your version of circuit training?
How many times a week and what muscle parts for the same day, sets and reps for the days of the week?
Or
Should I just do regular weight training, if yes please explain set, reps, muscles to focus on each day and, etc...

What To Eat For Hard Gainer

Q: hey mike i just had a mass gainer with 250 carbs 50 grams protien and all up made 1250 calories i am a serious hard gainer, but now i feel like not eating the rest of the day... what should i have for breakfast / pre workout now... i know you shouldnt have to much powder cause food is better... any suggestions

Almost Underweight But Want To Lose Pounds

Q: Hi, I am asking about some advice... I was recently (this last year) severly underweight at just 6 stone 10 with a height of 5 foot 8. I have now managed to regain my weight and weigh a healthy 9 stone 7, however I am unhappy with the way I look. I exercise regulary, atleast 3 times a week and more if I have time. I try to combine resistence with cardio. I would like to lose a few pound and tone up to look more leaner however I am wary of starting a diet or regime in case I end up underweight again. Would you have any advice on how to go about this?
