A: Losing weight and not gaining much, if any, muscle go hand-in-hand. It's completely normal to lose weight and lose or at least not gain muscle at the same time. A much more difficult task is to lose weight and to GAIN muscle. But to answer your question, just lose weight and you'll lose muscle too. It's not something I would make a goal (I always recommend trying to preserve as much muscle as possible and even build more), but it is the most natural outcome of losing weight.
