Overeating Vegetables

Q: hi mike here is one thing i don't understand. Why is it good to take lots of vegetables like broccoli and carrots as we can overeat them and people say always eat normally not excessively

A: I think the saying to not eat excessively developed because people tend to overeat on unhealthy, fattening foods. There are very few people who overeat veggies to the point of adverse affects and even those I think only go as far as causing stomach discomfort. Most people don't eat enough whole fruits and especially not enough vegetables. If you're trying to lose fat then vegetables provide the perfect source of carbs, in addition to providing all the vitamins and minerals. So while you don't need to eat veggies till your stomach hurts, you certainly can eat a lot of them while knowing that you're not jeopardizing either your health or your fitness progress.
