Replacing Cottage Cheese In Diet

Q: what could i replace the cottage cheese with in your example diet meal #1. The stuff makes my stomach churn!!

A: I've been waiting for a comment like that! :) Cottage cheese is an acquired taste. I enjoy it with strawberries, but I can certainly understand that the love for it may not be universal.

In the sample fat-burning diet meal #1, cottage cheese is meant to provide some extra protein. You can get roughly the same amount of protein and calories from about 2/3 scoop of plain whey powder OR from 3-4 egg whites. You could also eat a small serving of chicken breast, but that probably would be a little weird for breakfast. Hope that gives you some ideas.
