Trying To Lose Weight, What Exercises To Do

Q: i am trying to lose weight, i am eating healthy food and i use the following exercises, half crunch, one leg, upper abs, one leg and lower back. is this a good exercise to lose weight . could you suggest other exercises to do.

A: I am not sure what some of the exercises you mentioned are but they definitely don't exercise your whole body which should be your goal when trying to lose fat. By far the biggest benefit of weight training when losing fat comes when your body repairs damaged muscles in between gym sessions. so the more muscles you exercise and damage, the more energy and fat your body will burn while repairing them.
